Best ring ceremony photo I have ever taken. This is a live shot during the ceremony.

This photo was taken on New Year's Eve in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC with the Washington Monument in the background. He had just proposed to her.

We drove by the Jefferson Memorial on our way to the reception. We took this beautiful photograph and a few others in about 2 minutes and then we were off.

We had a great time photographing this wedding party in front of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC.

I love this simple photograph of the bride and groom right after the ceremony ... it just captures their happiness and excitement.

I am a professional photographer / photojournalist based out of the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. I am available for hire for portrait, editorial, people, family, engagement, wedding, headshot and commercial photography.

I want my clients to emotionally connect to the images that I capture for years to come.  CAPTURING THE HUMAN SPIRIT is what drives my photography.   I am trying to capture more than a person's image, I am trying to capture their personality and their emotions.

Combining their personality and emotions with great composition and light is how I create timeless photographs that my clients cherish for years to come.

If I am photographing an event like a wedding, or corporate conference, I want to blend in with the people and capture those honest emotional moments.  If I am doing a portrait or commercial shoot, I try to develop a rapport with my clients and get them comfortable, and most of all I want them to have fun with the photo session.

I started out as a freelance photojournalist with The Washington Post. I moved into wedding, commercial, and portrait photography.  As a Northern Virginia Photographer, I also serve the Washington, DC and Maryland metropolitan areas.

I live in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC, with my wife of 26 years and three daughters. We have lived in this area for over 17 years.
